These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Druk Ride website, mobile application, and services provided by Druk Ride ("Druk Ride", "we", "us", or "our") by drivers ("Driver", "you", or "your"). By accessing or using our services as a driver, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
Driver Services:
Druk Ride provides technology to connect drivers with customers for on-demand taxi services through our website and mobile application. Drivers can receive ride requests and fulfill them as per customer needs.
Driver Responsibilities:
Drivers must provide accurate and complete information when registering on the Druk Ride platform. Drivers are responsible for ensuring their availability to accept ride requests and pick up customers at the specified location and time. Drivers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when providing taxi services through Druk Ride.
Service Availability:
Druk Ride strives to provide reliable and efficient services at all times. However, we do not guarantee the availability of ride requests at all locations and times. Service availability may be affected by factors such as weather conditions, traffic congestion, and customer demand.
Deposit Requirement:
To be eligible to receive ride requests through the Druk Ride platform, drivers are required to deposit Nu. 500 via the app. This amount is non-refundable and must be paid to activate the ability to receive ride requests.
Payment:
Drivers agree to the fare structure and payment methods outlined by Druk Ride. Payments for rides will be processed as per the agreed terms, and drivers will receive payments for completed rides through the designated payment methods.
Cancellation and Refunds:
The Nu. 500 deposit made by drivers to activate ride request functionality is non-refundable. Cancellations by drivers are subject to the cancellation policy displayed on the Druk Ride platform, and any applicable penalties or charges will apply.
Driver Conduct:
Drivers agree to provide services responsibly and professionally, ensuring the safety and comfort of customers. Drivers must not engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities while using our platform.
Intellectual Property:
The Druk Ride website, mobile application, and all related content and materials are the property of Druk Ride and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Drivers may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the Druk Ride platform without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability:
Druk Ride shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services. Druk Ride's total liability to drivers shall not exceed the total amount paid by the driver for the relevant service.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bhutan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11.Changes to Terms:
Druk Ride reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Drivers are encouraged to review the Terms periodically for changes.
